The Online Gartenplaner (patch planner) is intended for home gardeners who want to grow their vegetables on the principle of good and bad neighbours and on the principle of crop rotation.
This site offers:
  • support for the planning of vegetable beds under consideration of
    • good and bad neighbours
    • crop rotation for perennial use
  • you can enter starting / sowing / harvest dates for each planting in a personalized garden calendar
  • it sends warning messages about loe temperatures (considering the weather forecast for the current location)
  • you can print a rough patch plan for use in the garden (if no internet connection is available)
  • it offers an exhaustive online encyclopedia with detailed information about their properties, propagation, care, diseases etc.

In addition, we are planning the possibility to print a shopping list for the seed. For this purpose we currently collect information about the weight of a seed grain or of 1000 grains, so that we can determine the quantity (in g) of the required seeds.

One of the most useful tools for any gardener is a plant identifier, helping you become a walking encyclopaedia of all British garden plant species SmartPlant.
